Proud to be an American!
Our theme for our Grandparents' Day this year is patriotism, so we wanted to have something hanging in the hall to go with the theme. The flag is, of course, each child's handprint and we had the students write why they are proud to be an American! My co-worker found the flag idea on Pinterest!

Grandparents' Day/Fall Bulletin Board
We are celebrating Grandparents' Day on Friday, so we wanted our board to be about them! Our students painted the leaves and then we took pictures of the them jumping! We printed them in black and white and let the kids color them. We then added the pictures to the board to make it look like the kids were jumping in the leaves! We also had each student tell us why their grandparents were special! Simple but cute!

Shape art
Our first chapter in math is geometric shapes so I let the kids choose two shapes and use them to design a picture. These are a couple of samples! if you cant tell, the second one says, "This is a college graduation."! So creative!! Tomorrow we are eating geometric shapes!!

A few more pics of my sports theme
This is my desk/small group table! I put vinyl stickers for the kids to write on! The dry erase pencils work great on them! I love this!
This is in the hallway next to my door! The fire Marshall won't let us decorate our doors anymore, so I just put it on the wall!
My word wall, which I bought from teacherspayteachers!
My reading dugout!
